According to Jeff Olsen in the book the Slight Edge, there are four simple yet fundamental steps required to turn your dreams into reality. The same steps apply whether it relates to your personal life, your health or your home business online opportunity. Step 1 Write it down. Once you have written it down it becomes far more real for you. Make the goal specific. The more specific you are the easier it will be to envision it. Give yourself a time limit. Without a time limit it is not really a goal. It is just something you would like to do sometime in the future. In reality, eighty percent of what we set out achieve is accomplished in the last twenty percent of the time available to complete the goal. If we fail to set a deadline then that last twenty percent would never be achieved. Step 2 Look at it every day. If you do not constantly remind yourself of your destination, then you are likely to veer off course, get waylaid and distracted. Having our goals written down and in front of us every day make them look achievable. You are sending your brain a message that they can be reached and your brain will constantly even subconsciously create actions that will bring you nearer your destination. Step 3 Know and pay the price.
